About this tool
The SnipText Grade Calculator helps students, teachers, and TAs compute accurate course grades. Add categories like Homework, Quizzes, Midterm, and Final with weights that match your syllabus. Enter items as points earned over points possible. Drop the lowest N items per category and the calculator recomputes everything, including the final letter grade and GPA estimate.

Does this match my school’s curve?
Many schools use similar thresholds, but you can edit the scale to match your syllabus exactly - the calculator validates the order.
What if weights don’t add to 100?
Use Normalize or enable auto-normalize so calculations proportionally scale to 100.
Can I paste data from Sheets?
Yes. Use CSV import or paste assignments with commas into a category using the Add items dialog.
